Mohammed Abdul-Nashiru (Ph.D)

Mohammed Abdul-Nashir (Ph.D) is a development practitioner on governance and local development. He has extensive experience working with development partners at different levels especially national and international governments, multi and bilateral institutions as well as local partner organizations covering Anglophone and Francophone countries.

From 2000, he has provided technical and implementation support to development partners such as CIDA (GAC), DANIDA, World Bank and UNICEF generally covering development planning, policy influencing, capacity building. modalities for engaging actors in decision making, Public health and on issues of accountability and social justice.

He is presently the Regional Director for WaterAid West Africa covering 7countries. Dr. Mohammed is now part of a team engaging with WHO and other governments advocating for WASH in al HCFs to improve public health and nutrition especially for maternal and child health. He holds a B. A. Degree in History from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana; Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Ghana, Legon - Ghana, and a Ph.D from Walden University, USA.
